Aparecium processes the following data only on your device:
- Receipt images: Used solely to extract text data (date, amount, vendor, etc.) via on-device OCR.
- Parsed receipt data: Temporarily held in memory until uploaded to your selected Google Sheet.
- Google account information: Only basic OAuth data (name, email, Sheets access token) necessary to connect your Google Sheets account.
We do not store or share your photos or extracted data on our servers.
3. How We Use Information
Your receipt data is used exclusively to:
- Extract text from receipts, and
- Append that data to the Google Sheets file you select.
No information is sold, shared, or used for analytics or advertising.
4. Google Permissions
Aparecium uses Google’s OAuth 2.0 authentication system to connect your account.
The app requires permission to:
- View and edit your Google Sheets files (only those you select)
You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account Permissions page.
5. Data Security
All data is processed locally on your device and transmitted securely using HTTPS to Google APIs.
We do not operate external servers that store or analyze your information.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Disconnect your Google account at any time
- Delete the app to remove all locally stored data
- Contact us to request information or deletion related to your data
